Karl Spindler
From craft to his own brand
Karl Spindler, born in 1981 in Baden-Württemberg, is an entrepreneur from Worms am Rhein. His career has been shaped by hands-on experience, initiative and a continuous evolution — from building services provider to specialist in refurbishment, construction technology and exclusive surface systems.
At just 18, Spindler went into business for himself and founded the company Blitzblank together with his siblings. The starting point was a mobile high-pressure unit delivering more than 300 bar, used to clean facades, pool areas, parking decks and demanding building sections. Contracts on larger properties, along with work around churches and museums, drew him increasingly into the construction and refurbishment trade.
Out of this development, BKS Bautechnik was later established. Over the years the range of services grew considerably and came to include building refurbishment, waterproofing, facades, balconies and terraces, interior fit-out, demolition work and bespoke solutions for private, commercial and special construction projects.
Along the way, Karl Spindler gained practical experience on a wide variety of projects – from single-family and multi-family homes to commercial properties, demanding refurbishment measures and work on distinctive existing buildings.
With STONE LOVE®, Spindler finally took the next entrepreneurial step. The brand stands for premium marble and stone carpet surfaces and combines skilled craftsmanship with modern design. The systems are designed for interior and exterior spaces as well as terraces, pool and spa areas, hotels, showrooms, boats and motorhomes.
Today, Karl Spindler stands for a career that was not born at a desk, but out of decades of hands-on work on building sites, in direct contact with clients and through the constant development of new solutions.
From Blitzblank via BKS Bautechnik to STONE LOVE® – experience became specialisation, and craft became a vision of its own.
